Press Release AMBIT ART 2013

Dear Colleagues,

We would like to turn your attention to the exposition Ambit Art 2013 which will take place from 31 May to 30 June 2013 at the Franciscan Monastery, Jungmannovo sq. 18, Prague 1.

It will be the 6th time that Czech artists of different crafts invited by Marcela Levinská will gather in the spacious premises of the Franciscan Monastery. The exposition will host sculptures and objects from glass made by Robert Alger and David Farrel, works of ceramics by Jana Hastíková, forged objects by Zdeněk Legner, paintings by Marcela Levinská and glass objects by Daniel Štěpánek.

The opening on Thursday 30 May at 6 p. m. will be accompanied by the singing of Jana Koubková and keyboard music of Ondřej Kabrna.

The exposition will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p. m. from 31 May to 30 June 2013; there is no entrance fee and it is an event where anyone can buy the works of art displayed.

The aim of the exposition is to introduce to the visitors the works of contemporary Czech artists who have already gained recognition in the world.

The motto: “ Even modern and contemporary art can be beautiful.”
